  • Why did Virtual Music develop these products and accessories for synthesizers?

    Customers consult us, whether we can offer a solution for the annoying problems of various synthesizers.

    As an example our Universal Keyboard Upgrade (for ARP, Oberheim, PPG, etc.) was developed because some customers were fed up with changing periodically the vulnerable rubber keyboard bushings.

    Another example is the Prophet VS mechanical modification. A musician came with the problem that the VS isn´t very stable and it went out of shape with a little mechanical use. Our modification is the solution for every Prophet VS to avoid these problems.

  • Are the service tips easy to implement?

    We are happy to share our insights. So it is not necessary for a bugfix of a PPG voice board that you pack, send the board to us for a repair. If you have some feeling and competence with handling of electronics, you can do it by yourself.

    Please note that all interventions are on your own responsibility.

  • Is it easy to install these products, accessories or upgrades?

    At the development of our products we always put value on a simple installation. We deliver all accessories with detailed instructions. These instructions are available in German and English, many pictures, notes and hints help you to make the installation as easy as possible.

    If you can handle screwdriver and tongs then you have the best prerequisites to install our products. Most accessory products can be installed fast and simply without soldering.

  • Are the products tested substantially before they are sold?

    We only sell only high quality accessories and therefore our products are tested before you can order them.


    Beta testers prove our solution substantially. After the tests are positive and the testers are happy with the new development, we turn to the marketing and PR activities to sell a brand new product.

  • What if I have a question during the installation?

    Then please consult us. We give you support and help you to answer your question. You can write an e-mail to Open contact page (no Javascript)or give us a call.

  • What if I do not want to install the upgrade by myself?

    If you do not want to do the installation by yourself, then we can help you, too. Since we need your device in our Synthesizer Service Center, we kindly ask you to contact us before sending any equipment.

  • How can I order these synthesizer accessories?

    If you want to order synthesizer products or accessories please fax us or send us as a PDF the completed order form. After receiving your order we will send you an e-mail with the confirmation. Online orders will be available shortly.

    If you don´t have a fax machine, we also take your order per e-mail to Open contact page (no Javascript). Please mind, never send credit card information via e-mail. This is way too unsecure.

  • How long does the delivery of the ordered products take?

    Basically all our products are on stock or deliverable shortly. The optional version of V8.3 for the PPG Wave series (optional version means ID#1 for the Wave and ID#3 for the EVU) are produced on demand and can take several days.

    Within Europe the shipment can take about 2 to 5 working days, outside it takes between 5 to 10 working days.

  • Why are both net and gross prices listed?

    Our prices are stated both net (without VAT) and gross (including 20% VAT):

    Net prices (excluding VAT) apply to all private and business customers from non-EU countries (Australia, USA, Brazil, Switzerland, ...) and to all business customers from the EU (with valid UID number, except Austria). Please note that taxes (import sales tax and / or customs fees) can occur when returning the goods (import turnover tax on the net value of the repair invoice).

    Gross prices (with 20% VAT) apply to all private customers within the EU and to all customers from Austria.

    On our invoices, offers and pro forma invoices, all individual prices are shown net. At the end the final amount is net or gross (added 20% VAT) according to the legal basis.

  • Which additional costs can occur with an order?

    Other costs are postage and packaging and possibly 5, - Euro minimum quantity surcharge, if your order has a value of goods under 15, - Euro net. Postage and packing will be charged depending on the actual costs. Paypal payment arise additional 5% fees based of the invoice´s amount. This is because of the extreme costs of that service.

  • How can I pay the ordered Items?

    Credit card

    The most comfortable way to pay is the transaction per credit card. We accept Mastercard and Visa. After we have charged the amount of your invoice to your card we will get the release by the credit card company (a process of a few seconds). The amount is withdrawn from your card account automatically after 6 weeks.

    Paypal

    We also accept payment through Paypal, unfortunately due the extreme costs we have to add 5% fees of the invoice´s amount.

    Pay in advance per bank wire transfer

    If you don´t have any credit card, we accept also payment in advance on our account (bank wire transfer) - please mind to take over any fees which might arise from the interstate transfer.

    Please mind that we do not accept cash payment anymore. As soon as the invoice has been cleared completely your items will be shipped immediately.
